01 Our Mission

USCalculators.com exists for one reason: to give every American — the weekend DIYer, the professional landscaper, the first-time homebuilder, the fitness enthusiast, the backyard BBQ champion — access to the exact calculation tool they need, exactly when they need it, with zero friction.

The US internet is flooded with calculators that output cubic meters when you need cubic yards, or that assume you know what a “stone” is when measuring body weight. We built every tool here from scratch with US standards, US units, and US terminology at the center.

02 What We Offer

USCalculators.com hosts over 1,000 free calculator tools across 90+ categories including:

  • Construction and Concrete — slab calculators, driveway estimators, rebar calculators following ACI 318 standards
  • Landscaping — mulch, topsoil, gravel, sod, and irrigation tools built around cubic yards and US bag sizes
  • Health and Fitness — BMI, TDEE, macro, pregnancy, and US military fitness test calculators
  • Kitchen and Culinary — party planning, recipe scaling, BBQ smoking times, and beverage calculators for American home cooks
  • Math and Conversions — 100+ unit converters built around the US Imperial system
  • Specialty Trades — professional-grade tools for truckers, machinists, plumbers, HVAC techs, and dozens more US trade professions
  • Science and Hobbies — astronomy, homebrewing, 3D printing, amateur radio, and other niche communities

03 How We Build Our Calculators

Every calculator on USCalculators.com is built following the same process:

  1. Competitor audit — we study the top 10 existing tools for that calculation to identify what they get wrong or leave out
  2. Standards research — we source the correct math from official US standards bodies: ACI, ASTM, USDA, NWS, FAA, OSHA, and dozens more
  3. Gap-filling features — we build in the features that every competitor is missing
  4. Plain-English content — we write the supporting article in human language, not keyword-stuffed robot prose
  5. Mobile optimization — every calculator works on a phone while standing in a hardware store aisle
Our standard: Every calculator must solve the actual problem the user has. If the top competitors only calculate cubic yards and we can add truck capacity checking, cost comparison, waste factor, and PDF export — we do all four.

04 Our Commitment to Accuracy

We take mathematical accuracy seriously. Every calculator uses Big.js precision arithmetic to eliminate floating-point errors that plague basic JavaScript calculators. Our formulas are sourced from peer-reviewed standards and verified against professional tools.

That said, calculators are estimating tools. We always recommend verifying results with local suppliers, getting professional estimates for large projects, and checking local codes and regulations that calculators cannot account for.

If you spot an error in any of our calculators, please let us know via our contact page. We take corrections seriously and respond quickly.

05 Privacy First

Your calculator inputs are processed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The numbers you type never leave your device or reach our servers. We do not require accounts, collect personal information, or sell user data. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.

06 Contact and Feedback

We love hearing from users — especially reports of calculator errors, requests for new tools, and suggestions for improving existing ones. The site is built for you, and your feedback shapes what we build next.
